Barry DiLibero
Pilot - America One
Barry has been flying balloons since 1991
and special shapes since 2002. He is our fearless leader although sometimes
we just put up with him. |
Teri DiLibero
SkyBoss, Photography & Web Master
Teri is Barry's wife of how many years? I
can't remember. I think we are going on 14 but Barry tells me it is really
only 12. Anyhow, I'm the one that takes most of the pictures and is in
charge of pins, the web site and whatever else is really important.

Danny Campbell
Pilot - Flighthouse
Danny flew America One for us in 2006 and
did a fine job although he did earn the nickname 'Swamp Rat' for his ability
to find the worst spot to land every time... I won't even go into the
Jackson sewage plant thing.
We still love him in spite of his landing
choices.
Danny is also the owner and pilot for 'Burnie-
the Little Devil Balloon'. |
Richard Rapp
Pilot - Patriot
Richard Rapp is the 'New Guy' and flying
Patriot this year. He really isn't new to balloons as he has been flying
them longer (1981) than the other two rookies described previously. |
Jim -
Crew Chief America One
Jim has a dubious distinction. He is also
Teri's Dad. There is no one more loyal and willing to get the job done. For
that we are incredibly grateful. He is a fast learner and amazingly easy to
work with. Plus, we get his dog Suzy as an added bonus.

Phil Bird
Crew Chief Flighthouse
Phil has been regular Pennsylvania crew
for us for many years. This will be his first year at Albuquerque and we are
looking forward to him finding landing spots for us as he works for the
United States Geographical Service. We will soon see..
|
Mike Shrum
Crew Chief Patriot
Pending his very successful surgery!
Mike is normally the pilot of La Ristra!
But this year he has had some health issues and has taken pity on us and if
all works out, will be crew chief on Patriot. |
Frank Davis
Frank will be our Crew Chief at large
for Albuquerque this year. Everyone loves Frank. This is a fact. He has been
stolen from us by Susan, his new wife. Frank and Susan will be with us this
year and we are grateful. ;-) |
