25th Annual Spiediefest in
Binghamton, NY |
Saturday morning was foggy. I would have
posted more photos, but mostly it was balloons leaving the field and
disappearing into the fog. So, there isn't much to see except for a cloud
with nothing in it.

Roy Caton takes off in the United Van
Lines Balloon. He is such a trooper! |
 |

Barry takes off... |

|

Barry attempts a landing. Not the
nicest of landing spots. But, he was caught in a miniature box that didn't
leave much for areas to land. One man on a mountain bike to the rescue to
take the drop line to the ground. |

My favorite photo of the weekend. Lone
man brings balloon through Caterpillars and posts to a safe landing. Sorry
to the people that couldn't go down the road while we were packing up! |
Saturday night. Gorgeous day, squirrely
winds at take off time. We had intended to fly, but the field was closed at
7:30 and we had to let other balloons take off where we were laid out. We
stayed on the field and tethered for a time. |

Look back at our other Binghamton
archives, you will see this young gentleman in every year as dedicated crew.
Now he is taller than Barry. Cody, we love you! |

So much going on here, so little
space... |

Creepy or cute? You decide. |

Phil giving the thumbs-up to the crown
line people to let them know Barry is going hot. |

|

I probably shouldn't have been here
for this shot. |
