Teri's Commentary
Let me tell you, Jackson
Michigan puts on one heck of a show! Fun, relaxed, and loads of wonderful
crew! The event is for charity and is run by a board of directors and about
1200 volunteers. The volunteers are top notch and the staff are friendly and
incredibly easy to deal with. 70 balloons and some of the best crew around!
We had some special guests with
us on Friday and Saturday that I would like to thank for coming out. You
guys are great!
Also, Ryan Crawford's Mom and
brother joined us for the whole weekend. I hope they had as much fun as we
did.
I want to make special mention
to the crew coordinator, Pat McGee. Thanks to him for getting us enough
crew. This is the first event where I wasn't running around like a crazy
woman asking for more bodies. Thanks Pat!
We certainly can't forget Chad
and Dave Seekell and John Piper the balloonmeister. They made our whole crew
feel right at home. Frank says he absolutely loves chicken and if he could
just find the keys he would love to bring some to John.
(I might get into some trouble
for that one)
For Gary & Glo, thanks for
all of your help this weekend working the bugs out of our little operation.
If you missed the first flight
of Patriot, we will be in Binghamton, NY the first week in August for
Speidiefest. Join us there, it will be worth the trip!
