I was driving the Capri, so I threw the

Barry landed in a tight spot. A perfect
landing even though we were sharing space with an adjacent garage.
My photos again. |
One end of America One was hanging
over the garage by about 15 feet. No problem.
|
A closer look... Hey, Postage Stamp
Radowski! Barry can do it too! |
Some of the residents. Please note the
lady in the window on the third row ... |
The lady in the window was kind enough to
send down a towel so we wouldn't get any grease on the balloon from the
parking lot. Who says chivalry is dead? |
Another inside view of America One. |
Good thing Barry landed when he did...
The other balloons just stopped over Springfield. But, they don't have as
much to worry about. They are easier to land. |
|
|
I'm still not sure what is going on
with these two. The guy on the right seemed very angry with us. He was the
only one. He was insisting to me that we had a malfunction of the burners
and that many small children were trapped under the balloon... The camera
guy was a bit nicer, he smiled at me and just kept filming. No malfunction,
no missing kids. I hope the guy on the right learns to have fun someday.

This is the beautiful lady from the 2nd
floor. We had a very nice talk and I hope she sends me the pics of our
landing from her vantage point on the 2nd floor. What a great lady. She is
also welcome to come crew for the rest of the weekend. I never did get her
name. |
